Humpty Dumpty

Humpty Dumpty.

Long, long ago, Hen-len laid a big egg.

She said to a fairy who was passing, ‘please turn this egg into a little Humpty Dumpty.’
The fairy put her hand on the egg and it became a little boy. Hen-len fled to give him to the princess for a birthday gift.

One day the princess said to Humpty Dumpty, ’let us go and see all the king’s horses and all the kings men’.

‘Now I shall put you on this wall so that you can see them. You will come to no harm if you sit still Humpty Dumpty.’

But he could not sit still and so he fell off the wall. Up came the king’s horses; off came the king’s men but they could not mend him.

‘Oh dear! ‘Wept Hen-len.‘ I shall never again ask a fairy to turn one of my eggs into a Humpty Dumpty.’

Humpty Dumpty fell off the wall.
Humpty Dumpty.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall;
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall;
All the king’s horses and
                      all the king’s men
Could not put Humpty together again.

Questions.

2.      Who turned the egg into a little Humpty Dumpty?
3.      To whom the Humpty Dumpty was given?
4.      With whom Humpty went to see king’s horses?
